DAY 2. EXCURSION TO DAMNOEN SADUAK

Excursion to DAMNOEN SADUAK floating market, then return to BANGKOK, visit the ROYAL PALACE, EMERALD and RECLINING BUDDHA temples. Overnight BANGKOK. (B,L,D)

DAY 3. BANGKOK / BANG PA IN / AYUTHAYA / LOPBURI / PITSANULOKE

Proceed to BANG PA IN, visit the Kings summer palace, then AYUTHAYA, a former SIAM capital (between the 14^th and 18^th century). Continuation to LOPBURI. Visit the king NARAI palace, the 3 Khmers PRANGS. Overnight PITSANULOKE. (B,L,D)

DAY 4. PITSANULOKE / SUKOTHAI / SRI SATCHANALAI / CHIANG MAI

Visit SUKOTHAI et SRI SATCHANALAI, former prestigious former capitals (13th century). Continuation to CHIANG MAI. Overnight CHIANG MAI. (B,L,D)

DAY 5. CHIANG MAI

Excursion to DOI SUTHEP, a Buddhist monastery , erected on a hill, visit handicraft villages: silk, lacquer, teak wood items, silverware……KANTOKE dinner with northern tribes dances.Overnight CHIANG MAI. (B,L,D)

DAY 6. CHIANG MAI / CHIANG RAI

On the way, visit an elephants camp and a orchids farm. Arriving at CHIANG RAI, then proceed by motor long boat on the river KOK. Visit a KAREN village and transfer to hotel by trishaw. Overnight CHIANG RAI. (B,L,D)

DAY 7. CHIANG RAI / GOLDEN TRIANGLE / LAMPANG / BANGKOK

Departure to the GOLDEN TRIANGLE along the MEKONG shores, at the junction of the Burmese and Lao borders. Visit AKHA and YAO minorities. Transfer to the LAMPANG railways station, dinner and overnight on board the night train (berth) to BANGKOK. (B,L,D)

DAY 8. BANGKOK / HUA HIN

Arriving at BANGKOK, then proceed to HUA HIN, a seaside resort, located on the GULF OF THAILAND. Free. (B)
